TC, Boyne, and South Haven 3/18-20

We will be playing a string of shows this coming weekend in Northern and Western Michigan.

On Friday, March 18th we’ll start by taking up an invitation to visit with WNMC 90.7 FM Traverse City Community Radio at noon.  In the evening we will be playing at the Inside Out Gallery in Traverse City for an 8:00pm engagement. This is our first time playing in Traverse City and you can guess that we’re excited and have good sensations for this show.

Saturday night its north up to the Freshwater Galley in Boyne City. This is our second time here and we’ll be going at it around 8:00pm, right after Nathan Bates and Josh Hall get things started off right.

Finally, Sunday we shift way down to South Haven, MI for a 3:00pm matinee at Foundry Hall. Have a snack before-hand and then come for the music. We’ll prepare a good set list with some new songs that we know you’ll enjoy.

Well, we hope to see you and share a laugh as we travel a gigantic triangle over the state of Michigan this weekend. Until then, drive safely and know that we’re thinking of you.

Bell’s Masquerade Ball

Howdy Folks,

Last night we were thrilled to open for our sister band, The Red Sea Pedestrians, at their 2nd Annual MASQUERADE BALL at Bell’s Brewery in Kalamazoo. We had a blast- RSP’s magnificent drummer, Mike Shimmin, sat in on a few songs, and RSP blew the roof off after we warmed up the becostumed crowd.

We decided to go Victorian-ish for our costumes- check it out:

Good times at Johnny’s Schoolhouse

We’d like to thank Johnny Williams (of Johnny’s Speakeasy fame) and friends for their warm hospitality and enthusiasm this past weekend at Johnny’s fantastically unique old one-room schoolhouse venue outside of Mancelona, MI.  We were treated to home grown foods, an icy river to slice away the day’s heat, and a foot-stomping reception all in a sublimely peaceful rural setting.

Be sure to check out some of Katie’s photos from the event
